Oxted Gasholder Site
St William is a joint venture between The Berkeley Group and National Grid, we specialise in redeveloping redundant gas holder sites and will unlock some of the most technically complex regeneration sites at the heart of communities across London and the South East.
St William has planning consent to demolish the Oxted gasholder and redevelop the site, the proposals include improvements to the site access from Station Road East including a banner feature incorporating the development's name over the entrance, vehicular and pedestrian gates set back into the site access, a free-standing ivy trellis wall and a high quality shared surface access road. The access road leads residents and visitors to the central courtyard which is the green heart of the development.
St William has recently acquired the adjacent Johnsdale carpark and is preparing proposals for a wider masterplan for residential development incorporating both sites. We intend to host a public consultation at the end of February 2018 to present our proposals to the public and receive feedback. A planning application for the new proposals will be submitted in March 2018..
