Oxted Gasholder Site

St William is a joint venture between The Berkeley Group and National Grid, we specialise in redeveloping redundant gas holder sites and will unlock some of the most technically complex regeneration sites at the heart of communities across London and the South East.

St William has planning permission to demolish the Oxted gasholder and redevelop the site with 77 apartments with an enhanced access route from Station Road East, high quality landscaped communal gardens which is the green heart of the development and associated car parking.

St William has acquired the adjacent Johnsdale carpark from Tandridge District Council. We have recently achieved planning permission for the comprehensive redevelopment of both the gasholder site and Johnsdale car park site. The development includes the demolition of the Oxted gasholder and development of 111 residential apartments with an enhanced access route, high quality landscaped podium gardens and associated parking.

St William intend to start demolishing the gasholder and remediating the land in Autumn 2018, with the development of new homes completing in Summer 2021.
